GLOBAL SPECIALTY LENS SYMPOSIUM 2023

This year’s GSLS was a great success with two excellent sessions and five scientific posters featuring the Eye Surface Profiler and the value of Profilometry for specialty lens fitting.

What happened in Vegas…  …this time it DID NOT stay in Vegas!

The Future Of Specialty Lenses Is NOW

Dr Melissa Barnett, Dr Barry Leonard, Dr Sheila Morrison and Dr Chris Sindt

Specialty lens fitting has advanced tremendously in the last couple of years. In this session we discuss all the innovative technologies that are available already now and are transforming specialty lens fitting. Some 10-15 years ago there were only very few specialized practitioners fitting these lenses and a few laboratories producing them. Now, specialty lenses are much more ‘mainstream’ and multiple manufacturers offer very innovative designs and technologies to solve many different ocular conditions and diseases.
